In this edition of Blip Updates, you will discover 12 releases that bring more agility, control, and compliance to your operation. The improvements include new features in Blip Go Personal, enhancements in Blip Desk, changes in Meta's APIs, advancements in Smart Sales, and a new sending flow via Google Messages RCS.

Migration from Cloud API to Marketing Messages Lite API

Starting from April 24, 2025, Blip customers will be able to migrate from the Cloud API to the new Marketing Messages Lite API easily and quickly, directly through the Blip portal.

The MM Lite API is Meta's new recommendation for sending marketing messages on WhatsApp. Utilizing an advanced optimization algorithm, the API analyzes previous user interaction signals from campaigns and social networks to identify who might find your message relevant.

New Active Messages Report Now Available

Now you can track the key indicators of messages actively sent by your chatbots. With data on sending, responses, failures, and conversion rates, the new report helps you understand the performance of your campaigns and make decisions more quickly.

Available in the Analysis tab, the report is free for all Blip customers. Take advantage of it to identify bottlenecks, optimize sending times, and increase the efficiency of your operation.

New Channel Selection Screen for Active Messages

With a redesigned and more intuitive interface, the new channel selection screen makes it easier to send active messages in Blip. The update improves the user experience, making the selection of the ideal channel for each campaign clearer — all without altering the already known flow.

New Guidelines for Utility Messages on WhatsApp

WhatsApp has updated the rules for sending Utility Messages. From now on, these messages must follow even more specific criteria to ensure relevance and transparency for the end user.

The main change is the requirement to keep the content strictly related to an action initiated by the customer, with clear language and no promotional appeal. This means that messages with commercial terms, promotional links, or invitations for new interactions must be sent in other formats, such as marketing campaigns.

With these new guidelines, it is essential to review your communication flows to avoid rejections and ensure compliance with Meta's policies.

New Validation Layer for Using Templates on WhatsApp

Blip has implemented an additional validation layer to ensure greater control and transparency in using WhatsApp templates. Selecting templates now requires linking to a campaign category (Utility, Marketing, or Authentication), which limits the displayed options to only templates compatible with the selected category.

Additionally, whenever a template is recategorized by Meta, all bot administrators will be notified by email, with detailed information about the change. This new feature helps prevent the incorrect use of templates, increases compliance with Meta's guidelines, and facilitates the management of active campaigns on WhatsApp.

New Flow for Sending Active Messages via Google Messages RCS

The new RCS message sending flow has been simplified, making the process more intuitive and 100% integrated with the Blip portal. It is no longer necessary to create templates or use the Broadcast List extension. Now, you can set up your audience, create basic text messages (up to 160 characters), and send campaigns conveniently and efficiently directly on the Blip platform, with a dedicated view for RCS campaigns.

Blip Go Personal: Quick Response Module

Now, with the quick response module in Blip Go Personal, managers can create standardized messages for their team to use in customer service, ensuring agility and consistency in communication.

The responses are organized by category, making it easier for agents to search and use them. Additionally, it is possible to monitor the performance of each response and make adjustments based on real conversations.

This feature helps reduce response time, improves customer experience, and gives managers more control to optimize their services.

Blip Go Personal: Agent Absence Module

Still in Blip Go Personal, we implemented a feature that allows you to configure agent absences in Blip Go Personal, ensuring more transparency and organization in customer service.

With this new module, you can automatically inform when an agent is unavailable, whether due to vacations, days off, or other reasons. This way, customers are notified and can be redirected to other available agents, avoiding unnecessary queues or unanswered messages.

This improvement helps maintain a smooth customer experience and also facilitates team management in operations with high turnover or dynamic shifts.

Blip Go Personal: Out-of-Hours Contacts Module

Now it is possible to identify and organize the retrieval of users who sought assistance outside of business hours. Agents can generate their own reports, while managers have a consolidated view of the team. The report updates automatically with data from the last 24 hours.

New Monitoring Screen in Blip Desk

Managers now have more control and strategic insight with the new monitoring screen in Blip Desk. The interface has been revamped to offer more fluidity in daily operations, with reusable filters, optimized columns, and a new sidebar with tabs dedicated to conversations, service information, and direct chat between managers and agents.

In addition, visual adjustments, usability improvements, and corrections complete the update to make monitoring more efficient.

New Chat Between Manager and Agent in Blip Desk

It is now possible to exchange messages directly within the ticket between managers and agents, with visual notifications and dedicated tabs. The new internal chat streamlines communication during service, reduces rework, and centralizes the history within the ticket itself.

New Management and More Features in Smart Sales

Now under the management of Blip Partner Gold WhiteWall, Smart Sales receives continuous improvements and new features to boost your catalog sales. This change ensures specialized support and constant evolution of the solution — all without impacting existing catalogs or active campaigns.
